Summary
Not too long ago, Hunter learned he was a Grimwalker, a magically designed clone of a long-dead man made from wood and beastly scales and several other things that absolutely haunt him. Now, he's been plunged into the Human Realm alongside the only people who have ever cared about him, and all things considered, he's been faring pretty alright, all things considered—until all those silly little Grimwalker things arise and begin to torment him again.
Or, set after King's Tide but before Thanks to Them, Hunter experiences some of the things he read about Grimwalker biology firsthand, and eventually finds a temporary peace with them with the help of a beloved friend.

No evidence of foul play. The doors and windows were locked and nothing was missing. It was like he died in his sleep. Only his adrenaline levels were through the roof. It was as if his heart, brain, and lungs had burst in fear. Can Team Deckerstar solve the case before one of their own succumbs to this mysterious killer? Note: this fic picks up about a week after the events of my one shot "Boo Normal". This fic is not necessary for this one but a couple things will likely make more sense if you've read it. Warnings and rating may go up once this progresses but I don't see it going up or needing a disclaimer.
