“So the new coordinates were applied.”
“Yes! And that’s what caused the ‘crash’ for the test. We hadn’t adjusted power for this new location and so the system tried to compensate. Like when a phone goes into low battery mode and prevents the use of some applications. The portal ‘closed’ but the system was still running.... And then Neon’s radiance overcharged it by accident.”
“The portal connected to the new coordinates and she was pulled through successfully.”
“Correct! She’s on the other side.”

Summary
After weeks of preparation, the Quen expedition was to be reunited at Landfall. What wasn't supposed to happen was Rheng staging a mutiny en route that saw Admiral Gerrit and Seyka killed in cold blood. Aloy's world is knocked off-centre at the news, and she's left to pick up the pieces. Summary
It was a miracle that the Caduceus Staff worked at all, let alone raised the dead. This code was the monster of Sombra's sleep paralysis. She shouldn't have offered to fix this thing, particularly not for free. But Angela's home-cooked meals kinda made it worth the trouble. Most of the time. The lemonade was impeccable. This woman was a medical, computing and cooking genius. It was hardly fair - Oh, this was just offensive.
"Did you import TensorFlow as torch??!! What the fuck, Angela."
Angela had the decency to look guilty, at least.

Summary
It was easier when dreams were simple, pleasant, things. A continuous string of nightmares keeps Beta awake through the nights and she and Aloy cannot agree on their meanings. Were they hints to lead them to where they need to be? Or are they omens, warning them of things to come?
Beta is positive these dreams are leading them to GAIA. Aloy believes it's the Far Zeniths using the Simulacrum in Beta's head to lead them into a trap. They don't have time to be fighting with each other as they wait for the Terror of the Sun to march on Meridian.
