Summary
Buck had driven to a mountain trail from the grocery store where he and the team ended up in confrontation with his ex-best friend yelling at him that he was exhausting and a bad father to his not-son.
Tears streamed down his face as he sat there thinking over and over again at the words yelled at him and no one stopped it. Further thoughts on his no longer father figure breaking their father/son bonds by his words that it was Bobby’s fault Buck had no job. And yet Buck had set new records in his requalification rounds.Buck had only asked for his lawyer fees to be paid and his job back when the settlement time came, something all sides agreed too, and the Chief had left him his number if there was a problem later on.
Now though, he sniffed, he had a thought. He called and left a message that, if possible, everyone in the station and not just on A-Shift had to go through their requifications like he did. They were discussing their weekend plans. Dinner with Tia Pepa and Abuela after a full day at the aquarium. Eddie was just going along for the ride Buck and Chris really wanted to see the new leopard shark babies that had hatched over the last weekend. Eddies ear pricked up to the sound of boots coming through the bay doors, they moved with precision reminding Eddie of his time in the army. He felt Buck tense next to him.
A voice boomed through the station “I’m looking for Commander Evan Buckley”.

Summary
He'd reached the corner of his block, he waited for the signal to cross. When he got the signal he still checked to his left and right before he started to cross. When he'd reached about the halfway point his head was in the clouds, then for a few seconds he was in the clouds himself. A sudden impact send his groceries flying everywhere, the whole of his right hand side exploded with pain. His body tumbling down the road, exposed skin dragged along the hot road.

He couldn't understand what was going on. He'd moved back from El paso 3 months ago, and his relationship with his bestfriend had kind of died. They still spent time together, they talked. But they didn't feel like buckandeddie any more. Did him going to El paso break them or was it the fight in the kitchen. He hadn't even seen Buck's new place, no one had. They still worked together but he was now with Hen and Buck was with Ravi. But they barely spoke at work, Buck was constantly traveling on their days off. He was constantly watching hockey and if anyone interupted him without it being a call he would get snappy
