“ Come in! I'll be there in a minute. ” a raspy voice coming from a room deep within the house. Buck, previously standing in the middle of his bedroom. Hurriedly rushed to the side of his bed. Tossing his pain meds into his bedside drawer.
“ Hey Eddie! “ Voice softer, less raspy. “ Hey. “ Eddie says in reply, studying buck in a way that makes it seem unobvious. “ Were you crying? “ Eddie asks, the question is dripping in concern for his ‘ Best friend. ‘
“ What?! No. “ Buck hurriedly responds. Voice cracking slightly. “ Alright. Want a beer? “ Eddie says, trying not to push knowing that will get him nowhere with Buck. He loves him, but he hates how stubborn he is. “ Yes please. “ Buck says with a long sigh. Grabbing a beer from the case Eddie brought with him. “ So if you weren't crying.. Why are your eyes red? “
If this were anyone but Eddie Buck would’ve been able to hide this, but Eddie just brings out the truth in him. He doesn't know if it's the face he makes when asking a serious question like this. Or the warm and calming mood he fills every room with.
“ Honestly I have no clue, Must be allergies or something. “

He's in a shit ton of pain, his leg is in constant agony, along with his chest and oh look at that 2 days after coming home he goes to the hospital and he's given some pretty good pain killers. That stop the memories and anxiety that have been brought up after the kidnapping...
