Summary
“Lord Helion,” Eris replied crisply. The infant in his arms let out another small whine and wriggled. “Congratulations are in order.”
Helion’s brow furrowed. Eris wasn’t implying-
“Your affair with my mother bore fruit,” Eris said bluntly, lacking much of the courtly manners he usually maintained. “We cannot keep him safe at the Forest House. Father has been suspicious for some time and… we fear what my father will do to him, if he ever receives proof of his parentage, which he’s sure to get with him in the same house. We can’t guarantee what his powers will be, or who he will resemble in time.”
Eris looked down at his brother, stroking his tiny red head with his thumb. His tone softened as he gazed at the tiny babe in his arms. “Mother has already named him Lucien. I know it would mean a lot to her if you would keep his name the same. She sent you a letter explaining everything,” he nodded at the low table in the middle of the arrangement of chairs, where a folded letter appeared with a pop. “She needs you to take Lucien. Protect him, raise him how she wishes she could raise him.”
AKA - 'A Lucien was raised in the Day Court AU' that tackles canon events slightly differently.

Summary
He often thought of the night they decided to run away, especially recently- he thought of it so often that it felt like he could even see the memory from outside himself, like he was watching a show at the theatre. Different people were playing the younger versions of Lucien and Jesminda: people that were drunk on love and the idealised future they envisioned together, free from the constraints of their opposing societal positions. The younger versions of them had no fucking idea.
An AU where Lucien and Jesminda fled Autumn to prevent the High Lord's discovery of their relationship. After a century, do they still feel that they were meant to be?
When Lucien suddenly develops heir markers, he feels a strange pull back to Prythian. Old secrets about his heritage are revealed, and there are choices to be made.

Eris rose from his chair in the corner. “Father-"
Beron held up one hand to silence him. Eris hated that it worked, and his voice cut off as surely as if he had cast a spell.
“Because if I get one whisper of any more sickening behaviour from you, both you and that babe will be eternally sorry,” Beron hissed, flames beginning to flicker in his eyes as he stared down at his vulnerable wife in her bed. “I’ll not suffer raising another male’s bastard.”
With that, he turned to Eris. The look he gave him chilled Eris to the core. It was a clear, unspoken order. He wanted Eris to report to him with any suspicions of Lucien’s parentage.
He wanted Eris to keep watch on them. To spy.
A peek into some moments from Lucien's younger years in Autumn, from his birth to his exile. From the POV of Eris, as he watches his youngest brother survive in a cutthroat court that could never fully be his home.
