To be honest, the Zapper was never really good with the whole Mike operation. They did decently backstage and with paperwork—probably why they were kept around, they thought—but talking to people as Mike (and sometimes just in general) was a real struggle. Most of the time, they just repeated what they heard Small Mike say, adjusting it slightly for the situation.
Judging by said Mike's reaction, though, it seemed they never got it quite right. Syllables replaced, whole phrases twisted...
"Hey. Earth to Mike?"

“Aaaand that’s 🌛all for tonight, folks✨!!” Tenna appeared front and center on the middle screen with his arms up in the air. “We’re off the air now! Good hustle, everyone! See you all tomorrow!” He bowed repeatedly before waving off the crew of pippins, zappers, and shadowguys, disappearing off screen himself.
…Before sliding back in with a stage whisper, “Whoopsie-doodle! Almost forgot the lights! Mike, if you please?” He clapped twice, and slowly all the lights in the sets and rooms were turned off, save for a few dim ones lining the floor’s walkways.
Battat slumped back in his chair. The day was finally over.
...Or so he thinks.
