Matthew was consistently unnoticed, which seemingly still applied when in the presence of his crush, Feliciano. Feli had been socializing with Matthew a lot recently, but Matthew was certain that it was because Feli was mistaking him for Alfred, as everyone else did. Even though Matthew figured Feli was mistaking him for someone else, Matthew still wanted to spend some time with his crush while it lasted, and figured that in that time, his feelings would pass. However, as Matthew spent more time with the Italian his feelings of affection grew, and he knew the time would come when Feli would realize Matthew isn't who he thought he was.

Summary
Peter, Matthew, Tino, and Feliciano were kidnapped and brought to a world where they're not only still at war, but a world where it's dog-eat-dog. Where the weak will not survive. These versions of themselves being crazed and blood-hungry. They're separated and unsure how to get back home. Yet, they all slowly learn that not everyone in this world is as wicked as they seem However; they learn that those that are wicked are to be feared.
Feliciano, Tino, and Matthew all learn this the hard way, as they're all helped by the unexpected but hunted in return.
