“And I know why you said it too,” he added quickly.
The feeling of impending danger in Hayden’s stomach deepened.
“And why was that?”
“Because you found out Shane is gay and you’re trying to use it against him to win games!”
A pause.
Rozanov blinked and then had the decency to at least look a little bewildered before laughing out loud.

“Friendly chats. For years. On Instagram.” Ilya glanced up at Shane, who looked… confused. Truly, honestly confused. Like they’d been sending cordial emails and not Instagram chats. And why did that make Ilya smile? A low, rich laugh slipped from his lips. “You really have no idea?”
“What?”
“Instagram is for… chatting, yes?” Ilya waggled his eyebrows. “But also, for, what do you call it? Sliding into DMs?”

Parker hums thoughtfully. “How do we steal that?” she asks. “How do we steal a breakup for Eliot?” She frowns. “From Eliot?”
“I dunno, babe,” he says helplessly, tugging Parker in a little closer to fight off the strange shapeless fear of her slipping away too. “Just be here for him, I guess. Same as we always do.”
Parker makes a grumpy sound, but wraps her arms tightly around his waist.
“I don’t think that’s enough anymore.”

Summary
They’re in the kitchen -- Hardison’s talking about the number of times they’ve had to replace the dishwasher. Billy asks, “How long have you guys lived here?”
For the first time since he started the tour, Hardison hesitates. He glances at Eliot, who says, “About ten years, on and off. We don’t stay in the same place a lot. This one’s-- special.”
“I can see that,” says Billy, putting his hand on the brick wall in a way he hopes is comforting. “It’s a really nice place.”
(or, Billy comes to visit his son in Portland, and ends up meeting someone new)
