Sansa interlocks her fingers with his golden hand, drawing shapes along his pearl knuckles, then over the ridge where his stump ends, and back. He presses his head into the crook between her shoulder and her neck, feeling her pulse thrum against his lips. Jaime can’t help it, he can only hold her closer to him and wonder if this is his last chance for honour, loving Sansa Stark.
