Summary
Avid reader Aventurine wakes up as a noble in his favourite novel, 'Trailblazing Romance' which should've been a dream come true—until he realises he's inhabiting a body with a mysterious illness whose of no one else but the nameless spouse of Veritas Ratio—the villain he always loathed and who the spouse is destined to be executed alongside.
Determined to (literally) keep his head on his shoulders, Aventurine does everything in his power to avoid the execution that ended the original timeline.
But while doing so, he learns that Veritas Ratio isn’t exactly the villain and that the heroine perspective might not have been exactly correct.
He had to admit, even though Trailblazing Romance was mostly shitty and had huge plot holes, it had one thing going for it—the way the heroine and the prince fit together perfectly.
Their loyalty, the build up from strangers to friends to then romantic partners—all of that had been unfairly adorable to read. And Aventurine may or may not have giggled a few times while reading those parts, but nobody had to know that.

Dan Heng had agreed with his boyfriend's idea to go to their usual library with that outfit on because there was no harm with entertaining Blade’s ideas once in a while.
And before he knew it he was standing in front of the library, in a beautiful dress, with light make-up and a wig on.

After seeing Sampo run away from him, Gepard chases after him, out of reflex. The Captain does end up catching the salesman but perhaps he would've preferred having done it in another... less suggestive position.

“I’m fine…” Mydei said, trying to act as if nothing had changed, but the way he traced the rim of his glass with his fingers in restless circles and fidgeted with it told another story. His eyes couldn't seem to focus on one point, his gaze darting from Khaos to Reaver to Phainon, again and again. The warmth blooming in his chest was not only from the drinks but also the sudden awareness of the triplets' focus on him, all three sets of eyes watching.
