Summary
Emhyr peers though the plexiglass at the man they removed from Radovid’s castle, barely alive, as a prisoner of war. The man is huddled, his back pressed to the wall, arms wrapped around his legs and his chin propped up on the tops of his knees. He is wide eyed, visibly alarmed when he looks at them, his body tense as a bowstring. His face is thin, hollow and worn, filthy where it looms above his knees. His, very short, hair is plastered to one side of his head with dried or drying blood.
“Who is he?” Emhyr asks the medic at his side.
