Summary
A freak accident leads to the discovery of body parts in the trunk of a car. A man is arrested and turned over to the FBI, but he refuses to speak. However, this is no ordinary man, this is a sadistic killer who knows how to manipulate and play games, even behind bars. And oh, how he likes to play. So much so that he decides to pull into his game an old friend he hasn’t seen since college, an old friend who is now a New Orleans detective.

Fifty years in the future, alpha and omega birth rates have declined drastically, and the government traces the cause to omegas who have chosen to hide their status and remain unbonded—omegas like Will Graham. To teach these omegas a lesson, the government decides to hold the first ever Omega Games, where a group of these omegas will be turned loose in an unpopulated area and a group of alphas gets to chase them down and bond them, all while being televised. Hannibal Lecter knows that a mate would be an inconvenience considering his extracurricular activities; however, as a pureblood alpha, he also feels the need to continue the Lecter bloodline, and so he signs up for the games. Looking at the assembly of exceptional omegas, he quickly narrows his choice down to William Graham and Matthew Brown. The two are vastly different, yet he feels they both have something to offer. However, these two are not the type to go down without a fight.

Summary
In an effort to end war, countries have legalized government-sanctioned killings as an outlet for aggressive individuals. In this way anyone who wants to kill can sign up as a Hunter and be assigned a victim, but after they make their kill they must then switch to Victim Status and play victim to another Hunter. Hannibal Lecter has been on many such hunts and looks forward to them. But he’s suddenly thrown for a loop when he’s assigned a victim unlike any he’s had before.

Will's a cocky killer "helping out" the FBI and Hannibal is a shy profiler with an "eating disorder." Throw in great storytelling and weave in a lot of humor and you have one hell of a fun read!

Her shoulders shrug, she’s not sure exactly, exactly, what she thinks Will could do, but victims aside, there’s really no one else. Jack counts himself out, and that’s it, no one more alive. “I need a way in.” She says in the end, simple truth. “I need to know if there’s a way in, and you’re the only one I think has any idea.”
He laughs at that, an empty, ugly, laugh that’s exhausted, lined with old pain. “Sure.” His gaze is on her now, and she takes a step back despite herself, he’s not dangerous, she knows, was proven innocent of every charge, “because our relationship went, oh so well.”
