Summary
On the run from HYDRA and Captain America, Bucky Barnes finds himself working in a new environment, far from civilisation. Specifically, a farm in the middle of the country, surrounded by mountains and miles of endless, empty fields.
He's on a journey with one objective. To survive. And sure, it might've seemed like an easy task as a ruthless killing machine when you had only one order to follow.
But not out there, where the day started when the sun rose and ended when it finally dipped beyond the horizon. And certainly not with one inconvenient factor. That for every day that passed, he was slowly becoming more human again.
And then there's Lily. A country girl with dreams bigger than her body, as well as being a victim of the traditional ways of those around her.
But getting caught up in the life of a man on the run from his past, plagued by memories of his unintentional wrongdoings probably wasn't the brightest choice.
Will they be able to grow wings and grow/soar in terms of success, happiness and love? Or will it all come crashing down the moment Bucky's past comes back to haunt him?

Summary
