Summary
“If I break my oath, even for you—” Dunk’s voice cracked. He thought of Ser Arlan’s face. Of Egg’s trust. Of everything he’d built himself to be. “What would that make me?”
“Mine.” Aerion’s fingers slid to the nape of Dunk’s neck, tangling in his hair. “It would make you mine.”
There are two kinds of distance between a common hedge knight and a Targaryen prince: the height that separates them, and the morality that should.

Summary
At the Ashford tourney, everything goes wrong.
Prince Aerion Targaryen is supposed to be past his worst habits—but instead he maims a horse, attacks puppeteers, and starts a scandal that drags half the royal family into it. Somewhere in the middle of all that, a stubborn, honorable hedge knight—Duncan the Tall—gets pulled into his orbit.
What starts as a skirmish turns into rumors, a trial, and far too much attention on one very inconvenient knight.
The problem isn’t the scandal or the politics, it’s Aerion himself. He’s changed. Quieter. Colder. Wrong in a way the people who used to know him can no longer ignore. Something is broken in the house of the dragon, and the cracks lead back to the Bright Prince.
And for reasons no one understands (least of all Dunk), Aerion decides he wants Dunk.

Summary
Aerion Targaryen - also known as Brightflame - was dead certain that he was a dragon in human form. So, the absolute logical next step in his mind was to drink wildfire. He just needed some heat to start his transformation, right?
Nope.
That fateful day, Aerion died screaming, burning from the inside.
Death came as a salvation. He almost made peace with it. What he didn't expect was to be sent back to the past, with no piece of advice or a single word from the gods. Was this simply a test? Or another chance at life to alter his fate? Aerion had no idea. But he was absolutely sure about one thing; he would make a certain hedge knight's life a living hell - the man who ruined everything.
(...Let's just say things aren't going in the way Aerion wants them to...)

Summary
As is well known, the last dragon to walk the earth died many years ago, taking with it the quality that made House Targaryen seem almost divine.
Yet this truth is not as absolute as history books might have led us to believe.
-
Dunk has never seen a dragon before. He knew, of course, they existed. Anyone in Kingslanding did. Yet despite having been born in flea bottom, he had never once catch a glimpse of those scaly creatures. Dragons seem unreachable, creatures of stories and legends not something you could see everyday.
He never bothered much to think about them; after all, what were the chances of encountering a Targeryen while being a hedge knight?
OR
What if dragon never truly disappeared from Westeros? Just learned to wear human flesh?
Lets find out how much of a menace could Aerion be if he actually had wings and scales.Bookmarked by FenrirFree
