Summary
It's been three days since Jamil and the other Overblotters returned from the Island of Woe. While Kalim had previously been overjoyed to the point of hysterics that Jamil had come back to him safe and sound, a Housewarden meeting about the situation has left Kalim in a dour mood, and Jamil can't figure out the reason why. When he finds out that Leona told Kalim about Jamil playing bodyguard for him during their kidnapping, he realizes that Kalim is... jealous.
Oh, how will Jamil ever make it up to Kalim?

Leona has gotten used to the blindness in his left eye.
Sure his depth perception is a little messed up and it’s annoying sometimes when he can’t see what’s in his blind spot, but everything was adjustable. Being blind in one eye doesn’t make him any less capable and it’s never truly been an issue.
Well, it’s never been an issue until now.

“Fine by me,” Floyd says. “Guess it's fine if we tell people it's really obvious he's got it bad for—”
“Woah, woah! Hang on!” Idia interjects, hanging up and clambering for the door. He cracks it open to the sight of the twins and whispers, “Keep your voice down!”
“Perhaps it would be prudent if we stepped inside, then?” Jade asks, beaming with teeth sharp enough to rival his own.
Pushy bastard.
“Fine,” Idia relents. “Don't touch anything.” He opens the door fully, and Jade and Floyd both walk in like they own the place, the former even taking the liberty to close the door himself. “TL;DR. Get to the point.”
“You make the gear, and we don't tell Azul you’ve got a big, fat crush on him.”
(Or, what did Jade and Floyd leverage to help Ortho?)
