Summary
"I'll see you here on Monday at six o'clock for the four to six year old class."
"I don’t like kids,” Jason lied.
Art rolled his eyes. “You are a kid. You’ll do it or you’ll find a different job.”
Jason left the gym, and then, on Monday, he showed up at five-thirty and taught the goddamn class.
--
after a batarang to the throat, Jason goes to New York. all he wants is to disappear.he doesn't mean to, but he starts to give a shit. about the boxing gym he works at. about the old fart that runs it. about the kids he teaches.
and that's before he meets the vigilantes.

Summary
It's the... what the fuck?
The toxin's never been like this before. It creates hallucinations and triggers the fear receptors in your brain but it doesn't shove you into your worst memories and makes you feel like you are actually in there. Like you're actually living through it again.
The pain, the fear... they were as sharp as when he actually suffered it.
That was... way more than what he signed up for.
He looks for Bruce, but the man isn't there. Tim is next to the Batcomputer, talking into a recording device.
"- much stronger than previous strains."
---
Tim thinks Jason is immune to fear toxin, so the best (and only) plan they have to combat Scarecrow's new formula is to test it on him and get an antidote ASAP.
Jason might've been bluffing when he said that the poison didn't affect him - but he'll be damned if he lets Barman see him scared. Again.
So he accepts.
Unfortunately, the Lazarus Pit effects force his family to live through his most painful, terrifying memories with him.
And none of them know what to do.

Summary
Thor is not stupid. He knows that is the general assumption, but he isn't. (Alright, so he's a little stupid, but that's neither here nor there.) He sees far more than people realize. Lately, he's seeing one thing in particular - Stark and just how much he reminds Thor of Loki. It is like looking at a distorted reflection. He sees and he acts. He will not let Stark walk down the same road Loki did. If he cannot save his brother, then maybe he can save his shield brother instead. Funny how this decision changes everything.

Summary
He blinks, and blinks, as he stares at his own body, everything growing out of focus as he stares and stares at the blood pooling underneath the body- the corpse that he once inhabited. He heaves, falling onto the floor, shaking and trembling, looking at his hands, that shift and shift, no longer the human part they were supposed to be. His own form is rippling, like the disturbed water of a once peaceful pond, twisting and becoming, like a horrific form of metamorphosis, as he watches what once was become nothing at all. He closes his eyes, the two, three, six, eleven, a thousand eyelids closing, as he lets it go, all fear and similar draining out of him, as he feels the shifting start to slow down, not as brutal as before.
Phil closes his eyes, and Philza opens them, breathing, once again.
The player's body is not made to withstand the World. The changes are imperceptible at first glance, the Universe's attempt in assimilating those it loves... In Hardcore, however, the changes can get... a bit drastic.
OR: After Phil's death in his second hardcore World something... changes within himself. The blood god can sometimes not only be a phrase...

Summary
“Hey, Miles,” Mr. Wright said entirely out of the blue, midway through their manic investigation session into the financial records of M. Bezzel, Ltd, “let’s get married.”
“Hmph?” Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth didn’t even look up from the tax return he was currently examining. “Now? Don’t be ridiculous. We still have two years of receipts to sift through.”
Apollo and Prosecutor Gavin goggle as their bosses argue their way through the least-romantic proposal, engagement, and wedding they've ever witnessed. It's almost as if, to Mr. Wright and Mr. Edgeworth, wedded bliss is equivalent to a long bickering legal debate crammed in amid an ongoing investigation.
