Summary

“Did you know the Manor obeys all Malfoys?”
“No. I did not know that,” Hermione said, barely concealing her annoyance.
“That’s why I’ve been able to get into the cellars with no one the wiser," Malfoy explained.
“So, a Malfoy could unlock the cellar door and let everyone go?”
Malfoy nodded.
“So…?” Hermione prompted.
“So. If there were a Malfoy locked in the cellar, they could orchestrate an escape while my father, mother, and I are all well accounted for. While we have an alibi.”
Hermione looked at him with raised eyebrows. She didn’t like where this was going, but wasn't going to jump to any conclusions. She was going to make him spell it out. “What are you proposing, Malfoy?”
“I’m proposing you marry me, Granger.”

Summary

Voldemort has gained control of Wizarding Britan. It has been almost three years since the diadem was destroyed and The Order is no closer to eliminating Voldemort. They are running out of soldiers. Moral is low and Hermione Granger has seen more death as a Healer than any one person should. When The Order is offered a deal they can’t resist, one that could help change the tide of the war, Hermione finds herself at the mercy of Draco Malfoy. Trapped in Malfoy Manor with him and being forced to tackle an impossible task, Hermione struggles to stay sane. On top of everything else Malfoy insists on confusing her with his ‘I would never touch you, but neither can anyone else’ attitude. Hermione has twelve months to provide results, but a world-shattering discovery might change everything.
