This is a supplementary work!
Since my readers demanded it, I am sharing the extra content that's been accumulating over the last year or so.
There will be maps, a Lan family tree, character profiles (especially OCs and NPCs since it can be hard to keep up with all the names, lol) and perhaps some other stuff, we'll see!TomatenMark’s beautiful and painstaking illustrations for Stunted, Starving Juvenility include:
A layout of the Cloud Recesses (complete with parallel gender-segregated facilities.)
A map of Sect territories (Color-Coded For Your Convenience) superimposed upon real-world Chinese geography.
A lengthy roll call of dramatis personae, including the author’s vast sprawling cast of OCs.
Detail-intensive portraits of many of the aforementioned OCs, drawing upon the donghua, manhua, and audio drama character design (and establishing family resemblances—such as the lofty height and distinctive blue-white pallor of the born Lans as compared to the outer Sect members.) (Note that Chapter 11’s portrait of Mianmian the Elder is a spoiler for one divergence from canon.)
A chromatically ordered chart of likewise Color-Coded For Your Convenience Sect logos; the author’s original designs for minor canon Sects and her own OC Sects are often more intricate and symbolic (sometimes including Hanzi) than the canon Great Sect logos.

At sixteen Wei Wuxian is—through some strange twist of fate, or a nick in the layer between parallel universes, who knows—out of the blue confronted with that one incense burner dream one night.
While his curious mind is left unable to stop poking at this new perspective on Lan Wangji, circumstances in the Cloud Recesses begin to change and Wei Wuxian is suddenly presented with life-altering opportunities.
Maybe Gusu isn’t so bad after all?
(Or alternatively: The fic where I get to give Wei Wuxian the academic scholarship he deserves while simultaneously getting him hitched early on.)

Gusu Lan’s Wei Wuxian Protection Squad has its own ultra-classified list of rules, drafted by fanclub president Lan Jingyi.
I particularly love the way this document expresses both Lan Jingyi’s overwrought nature and his upbringing in GusuLan legalism—despite their dramatic tone, The Rules ™ for the Wei Wuxian Defense Squad are methodically set forth, including a chain of command and “Thou shalt not befriend Yiling Laozu antis!”—with names named.
