Summary
Herald Yvonne Kader (Lavellan on her father's side), a half-dwarven, half-elven Orlesian gardener suddenly tasked with saving the world, has only recently met magister Gereon Alexius, once a loving husband and father and proud mentor to one of Tevinter's most brilliant young minds, not so suddenly tasked with killing her. They are very much enemies, but during the blink-and-you-miss-it interaction when Yvonne was helping Felix get to his feet and Alexius was observing her, they found each other... a bit more intriguing than expected. Yvonne especially cannot help but think back to a certain story her mother once told her when she was a child, and wonder: is the magister predestined to be evil, and act as an evil villain does?

Muttering furiously to himself, magister Gereon Alexius staggers up from the kneeling pose he was inexplicably forced into — and then cries out, as a sudden splash of scalding pain bubbles across his left palm. He glances down blearily. His gauntlets are gone, and his bare hand is split with a flaring green scar.

Something goes horribly wrong during Alexius' attempt to erase the Herald of Andraste from time. Somehow, both of them are transported to the Fade, back where it all began... Except now the Herald is just a regular civilian, their hand untouched by the Mark, and the magic that was supposed to belong to the Elder One has been passed to Alexius himself.

Summary
The introductory chapters and some further plot notes for an original romantasy story I have been pondering, about a group of humans that joins an all-new society of anthro animals because in this universe, every civilization lives on the back of a space whale, and the humans' whale is dying, so they have to seek refuge on top of another one. Where all the furries are. I am blending in as many concepts I find fun as possible, guided only by a vision of a hypothetical BookTube reviewer, looking at the cover of the complete story (if it will ever exist) with confusion and disgust, and asking "What was the author smoking?" and "Who is this even for?". The answer is: the author was smoking sleep deprivation, and the story is for the author, i.e. me. And maybe you. Especially if we are friends.

Summary
Rogue Trader Constantia von Valancius returns from Commorragh with a dramatic grey streak in her hair and, more crucially, with partial memory loss: the price she had to pay to Tervantias in exchange for her companions' freedom. She is mostly functional, and her retinue is happy to assist with regaining her memories through various means, which she is quite successful at... But when she looks at Abelard, her trusted Seneschal and her lover, all she sees is a stranger. Worse than a stranger, even — certainly so for Abelard himself, who suffers in quiet stoicism as the woman he is so passionately devoted to fails, time and again, to recognize him. Until he cannot take it any longer and, losing his usual common sense under the influence of amasec at a "Rejoice, we are not traitors!" Werserian family celebration, lets all of his pent-up feelings spill out.
