After many lackluster performances from the Metros these past few months, it only makes sense…”
The anchor continues as a clip of Rozanov from a post-game interview last year plays—he’s shirtless and sweaty, smirking into the camera. And then he does that…that wink. Shane just stares up at the screen, dumbfounded. He’s not listening to the details anymore, but the words echo in his head.
Metros to acquire Ilya Rozanov…
His team to acquire Rozanov.
“This is bullshit,” he mutters, turning and trying not to stomp off like an upset child.OR: Ilya gets traded to Shane's team and Shane is not happy about it

Summary
Castiel Novak, operative for the CIA, had a price on his head. His boss sent him to a small Southern town to blend in. Suddenly, he was James Milton, a writer for a show on travel. Everything was fine, though boring for the trained assassin, until someone kills the town’s resident beauty queen. The Number One suspect? None other than Castiel, since they’d had a very public argument at the library. Now, he must find out the real killer without blowing his cover.
Ex-Marine, single dad, and current deputy sheriff of Coosa Falls, Alabama, Dean Winchester, was used to the usual traffic tickets and an occasional drunk during football season. Suddenly, he’s faced with a dead beauty queen. Nobody liked Lilith Carrigan, but having a murder in the town was causing quite the uproar. The new guy in town was his prime suspect, but for some reason, Dean didn’t think he was guilty.
With the help of his new friends, Mildred and Frank, Castiel sets out to find the killer. Having an elderly widow and a conspiracy theorist on his side might be a bit much for the operative. And finding himself lusting after the very person that can put him in jail and blow his cover wasn’t the best idea.

But there’s one thing no one knows about him: that, over twenty years ago, he used to live next to none other than Dean Winchester – back then a brash and loud-mouthed boy and nowadays a huge movie star and Hollywood’s sweetheart.
Castiel never bothered to tell anyone about his childhood friend because frankly, who would believe him? Probably even Dean himself already forgot about his former awkward and weird neighbor, so Castiel seriously doesn’t see any point in mentioning the whole thing ever.
