Peter Parker was convinced that the Stark Tower was haunted, despite what most people would say to that: that it was a whole lot of bullshit. He knew he sounded like a conspiracy theorist, but, well, living in a world full of freaky superpowers and aliens and gods from other realms tends to change people's perspective.
So, yes. He was absolutely, one hundred percent sure that the tower was haunted, because he himself had been a victim of the hauntings.
Because that's what they were. Hauntings.

Link wasn't sure if he possessed a few… unnatural abilities before the Calamity as well but since nobody seemed to remember such things about him (or if they did, they were already dead), he figured he acquired the power to break the fabric of reality in the Shrine of Resurrection.
But he was lovin’ it.Or, five times Link used glitches on accident (or not) and the one time it wasn't actually a glitch.

There was nothing beautiful about death.
Peter didn’t understand why so many movies seemed to think that there was, that there was something heroic and worthwhile in it, because Peter had seen it up close, had smelt it, touched it, and it was... it was indescribably horrific. It was ugly, and traumatizing, and you were never, ever ready.
There was no version of existence where Peter would’ve been prepared for Tony to die.
