Kunikida Doppo knows other people assume he is alright. Even after everything that's happened, he continues to allow them to think that way. There is, after all, no room in his schedule for dealing with any of his mental issues- or for having them.
Kunikida Doppo is more than fine.
He's the one who doesn't deserve to feel anything about what's happened.
(Especially because some of those things were his fault).
Or: Kunikida suffers from depression after the Decay Of Angels Incident. He thinks he can handle it on his own. The other Agency members think otherwise.

Kunikida is (lovingly, for his own good) let go from the Agency because he's the first target half the time and no one wants it to get to him. He ends up in the same place a not-dead Oda is in and heals and settles, slowly but surely.
