Summary
“You better divy that up.” Etho doesn’t reply to Grian’s request, but Grian knows he’ll share it anyway.
The three of them have been living together for a little over two years now, but Etho and Cleo have lived together for three, only letting Grian stay permanently after he was at the apartment more nights than not. Those two years have been the best of Grian's life. Sure, money’s been tough, there’s not enough room for three, and he’s been bullshitting his way through his degree, but watching Etho and Cleo argue over how long they need to put the food in, he knows everything’s worth it.
Etho wins the argument, but only because Cleo can’t reach the container when he holds it above his head.

“Do we even have cornstarch?”
“Probably not.” Cleo replies, their hand pausing in Etho’s hair. “Do you hear that?”
Outside, the sound of hooves clicking against cobble rings out. It’s dampened by the walls, but definitely present.
“It’s probably Grian.” He decides.
“Cleo, Etho! I’m back!” Grian’s distinct voice yells, while Etho clicks his tongue.
“Told you so.” He smiles, wiggling to look at Cleo.

Summary
Standing in the door looking more like a disgruntled cat than a canary, is Jimmy Solidarity. He holds the door open with his shoulder, while his hands are occupied by a stack of textbooks and notebooks that he clearly doesn’t have enough hands to hold, then two takeaway coffee cups balanced precariously on top.
He frowns when he sees Tango, his wings sagging as his expression is far from excited by the blaze’s presence. His eyes trace around the rest of the building, probably looking for Pearl, but he obviously does not see her (as she’s not there…).
Tango can practically see him holding in a sigh and a sarcastic comment just before he speaks. “A little help here?” Jimmy decides on, though he doesn’t seem happy about it.
“Oh, oh, yeah sure!” Tango says, seeming to snap into action right in that very moment, quickly hopping up and finding his way over to Jimmy.

“Sorry?” Grian often called Pearl to ask her when she’d be home or just to make sure she was alright, only when he had one of those overprotective worrying brother feelings though, and Pearl was alright right now, there was no reason for her not to be okay.
“You sound off.” Grian explained. “Have you been crying?”
Pearl reached a hand up to her cheek, sure enough she felt a few warm sticky streaks of old tears running over her skin. “No,” She lied. “Just had a bit of a rough day.”

But rather than jump to outright mockery, Zedaph proposes an alternative- a series of scientific tests, to determine once and for all the true shape of their world!
After all, if the science is settled, then that just means it's repeatable...right?

Summary
In most situations, Hanta is able to react quite enthusiastically. He is usually someone that has the right answers to the wrong questions, a level head in a room full of balloons. He is a calming force when needed.
That doesn’t explain why he is gawking at Todoroki at one in the morning when asked for oranges. But low-and-behold, the man and the myth himself is standing outside Hantas room, in silk smooth pajamas and pin-straight gorgeous hair may he add, waiting for Hanta to open his mouth and answer the damn question.
Or
Hanta gets asked to eat oranges in the middle of the night by Todoroki himself, and as they shared these moments together, he slowly starts to realise how much he likes to have the boy around.
