Summary
Hongjoong, who had been in a certain writer’s block, a funk as some might say, was desperate. It had been two months since he’d last been able to write a song. His boss and coworkers were getting agitated with him since they’d been losing capital considering only his songs had been hits lately. It was the fifth time he’d been called into the boss’s office to be berated when he decided to make the deal. He was sure it wouldn’t work, but he was just distressingly hopeful enough that it would. He also figured that, considering Halloween was only a little over two weeks away, it might inspire a spooky Halloween song if anything. But when he said the incantation and the song demon Mingi actually appeared in a puff of pinkish gray smoke, dressed in a beige suit with his fiery red hair slicked back, he was, quite literally, ready to pass out. That was until Mingi started introducing himself in the cutesiest, most cringy way Hongjoong had ever heard in his life.
