A world without Naruto in it didn't sound like much of a world at all, and all it takes is a flare of his Mangekyou to send them flying through a portal to the past. Tossed into a distant timeline, they suddenly find themselves with a new chance to save not just everyone, but themselves too. And if Kakashi gets to harass his younger self along the way and discover what it feels like to love someone... well, that's just the cherry on top

    (OR: Kakashi and Naruto are flung into the past, the opportunity to stop and take a breather makes them realize their feelings for one another may run a little deeper than they initially though, and wow, was Kurama always this fucking annoying?)
