Summary
Felix sighed. “You need to stop this."
Hyunjin blinked, the smile on his face dropping slowly. “Stop what?”
“Whatever this is,” Felix said quietly, gesturing between them. “Showing up everywhere I go like some sort of—” He cut himself off, exhaling sharply. “You’re not being subtle.”
“Oh, but I wasn’t trying to be,” Hyunjin said simply.
Felix stared. “What?”
Hyunjin straightened, stepping closer—but not too close, careful like he was trying not to spook him. His voice softened. “I wasn’t trying to hide it. I just wanted to see you again.”
The honesty in his tone threw Felix off balance. He’d expected denial, an excuse—anything but that. “Why?” Felix managed after a long pause. “You don’t even know me.”
After a car accident, Hyunjin forgets Felix completely. His family blames Felix for everything —the crash, the memory loss—and legally forces him to stay away. Two years later, they met again in their junior year of college. Felix pretends not to know him, but Hyunjin can’t seem to stay away from the stranger who feels far too familiar.

Summary
It's during the summer of 1987 when Hyunjin is shuttled away from the drama of his parents' rocky relationship to spend his final summer break out west with his reclusive aunt in the town of Penn, Oregon, where time stretches as long and sweet as saltwater taffy.
There's something a little strange about Penn. Maybe it's something in the water, or something woven deep into the foundation of the town itself, but Hyunjin is determined to find out exactly what is going on before summer ends.

“Many have tried,” he muttered dryly, not even looking at Chan. “And many have failed.”
Chan frowned. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Seungmin didn’t answer right away. He adjusted a stack of lids, lining them up carefully like he needed something to focus on before speaking again.
"It means Felix is… Felix,” he said finally. “People get drawn in. They think it’s something bigger than it is.”
Seungmin’s voice dropped a little when he spoke again. “Felix is kind to everyone. That’s just who he is. People mistake it for something personal... I love him. But, I've seen people get hurt.”⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。⋆˚꩜。

Summary
“I probably don’t say it often enough. You mean a lot to me. All seven of you. We’ve shared so many moments together it’s hard to imagine a life without you guys in it.” Maybe this is too much now, but Hyunjin’s never been able to stop his mind from spinning quite so easily once it was put in motion. “I guess sometimes I just feel so different from all of you. Like it doesn’t come as easy to me as it does to you guys.”
“What doesn’t?” Jeongin asks, seeming confused.
It makes Hyunjin shy, in a way, to know that he’s really listening, that he’s trying to understand. He breathes out a sheepish little smile. “Friendship, I guess. Talking. Human interaction. Feeling like I belong. All of it.”
