Wiping the sweat from her brow, Anissa grinned at her row partners. Coach Taylor had just called a stop to everyone and was getting ready for the cool down stretches and Anissa was ready for the day to be over. She had a good chunk of homework to get through before the barbecue tomorrow at Reynah's. A group near the front was already shoving and pushing each other as they laughed about something stupid someone else said while waiting for Coach to call the stretches.
Anissa couldn't help the grin spreading a bit further when she saw who was involved in the scuffle. Elio Kealoha was a menace on the dance floor and on people's hearts. He was just too kind to everyone around him. She was aware of at least five people on the dance team that had a crush on him because of his disposition alone.
