Summary
Sophie inherits the Penwood title as the legitimate daughter of Richard Gunningworth, despite no one knowing that the title could be passed to a daughter if there was no son.
This revelation surprises everyone, especially Araminta, who “raised” Sophie under sufferance and under the assumption she was a bastard due to her mother’s lower social standing and the scandal surrounding her conception.
At the will reading, Araminta is shocked to discover the title will go to Sophie, not the cousin she had arranged for her daughter Rosamund to marry.
To complicate matters, Rosamund is already betrothed due to Richard’s legally binding contract, meaning Rosamund must marry the unsuitable cousin unless Sophie, as the new Countess, decides otherwise. Richard’s will also states that Sophie’s husband will become Earl, making Sophie a highly sought-after match when she enters society at 19, as every untitled male vies for the title and her substantial dowry.
Will Sophie find a man who will love her for who she is, or will this unexpected twist cause a wrinkle in her hopes for a happily ever after?

Summary
In 1803, sixteen-year-old Benedict Bridgerton is spending the summer in Paris when the Napoleonic Wars are declared and he becomes a prisoner of war. The Bridgertons constantly worry about their missing brother, working to find a way to bring him home when suddenly the letters stop.
In 1807, eighteen-year-old Sophie Baek is illegally sold as a maid to a family in Verdun, when she meets Benjamin Sojourner, a mysterious and handsome young Englishman who lost his memory in an accident three years earlier.
In 1814, twenty-three-year-old Colin Bridgerton is touring France when Sophie Lefèvre, a happily married seamstress invites him home for dinner. Upon arriving to the Lefèvre residence, Colin is shocked to run into his long thought dead brother, Benedict, now happily married with four children and has no idea what the hell Colin is talking about when he calls him “Benedict” much less “brother.”
How Colin is going to explain this one to the family is anyone’s guess.

You have always loved Baelor for his restraint.
For the way he listens. For the way he waits. For the way he does not rise to every provocation. But when someone dares to test the boundaries of his household — and places a hand where it does not belong — the court learns that silence was never softness.
And you learn, once again, just how much weight his silence carries.

Summary
The future of the Seven Kingdom's change when Prince Baelor decides to marry again. This time, his choice is made out of love, not an arranged match.
Princess Viserra Targaryen is the eldest daughter of Maekar Targaryen, and her father would soon see her married, to her brother Aerion. She decides that the only one who could stop Aerion is the heir of the Iron Throne.
When chase turns into love, no one can stop them. Potential matches are ruined, scandal rises at court, and fate changes. Baelor does not perish at Ashford. A greater king than Jaeharys the Conciliator awaits the Seven Kingdoms, and he is madly in love with his niece.
All credit goes to George R.R. Martin. This story is different from the original, although most characters are the ones from canon.
