Summary
So I haven’t written anything serious in like years, let alone fanfiction! But I can’t seem to help it when it comes to these two dorks! Please forgive me for all the alliterations (and lack of dialogue, what is it with my long descriptions!?) though, I swear it wasn't intentional! I only realized it after reading it through! He heard both of their screams over the sounds of the wolves. He felt the way Wei Ying trembled, hands almost painfully tightening their hold on Lan Zhan’s neck, refusing to let go, to let the wolf have access to the precious skin.
A wolf jumped on top of them, pressing them both down onto the forest floor.
This is it, Lan Zhan thought, refusing to close his eyes, forcing himself to keep his gaze open, eyes locked onto Wei Ying’s.
Then, there was a glow coming from behind Wei Ying, Lan Zhan’s eyes widened as it wound around them before pulling, taking both of them with it.

“Lan-er-gegeee?” he sweetly singsonged.
Lan Wangji, like he had been doing the entire afternoon, immediately looked at him upon being called. His eyebrows raised minimally as he took in Wei Wuxian’s appearance.
“How about this? Am I still nice to look at, Er-Gege? Do I look cute?” Wei Wuxian asked, sugary and nasally, as he twirled the end of one pigtail around his finger and batted his eyelashes.
The other didn’t miss a beat.
“Mn. Very cute,” Lan Wangji confirmed, not seeming flustered at all.
Wei Wuxian was starting to despair.
(Or: Lan Wangji discovers a method to find out if a flirtatious guy is being serious or just playing and decides to test it on Wei Wuxian. The method? Flirting back.)
