"It's nostalgic." Hank says suddenly, his voice is coarse and deep, like he hasn't used it in years. The words surprise Doc for a moment, Hank didn't usually start conversations.
"What is?" Doc replies, carefully pulling out a bullet lodged deep into Hank's flesh.
"You, doing this for me, it's like that time."
Doc looks up, not understanding what "time" Hank is referring to specifically, as soon as Doc's mouth opens to question Hank further, he realizes what Hank meant.
