    Ness thinks he's saving Kaiser's life. He's seen the strange way Kaiser began acting around Isagi, as if being close hurt him; then Ego's comment about one of the players coughing flowers. The petals and blood in the trashcan serve to confirm his suspicions: Kaiser has the Hanahaki disease.

    After reading some shady articles online, Ness assumes that the best way to "save" Kaiser is by helping him. Help as in kidnap Isagi, drug him, and tie him to a bed so it'd be much easier for Kaiser to consumate his love.

    But sadly for Ness, he gets it all wrong.
