[“I had… depression before I was turned.” Scott admitted.
“Oh.” That didn’t seem to be the answer Owen was expecting.
“It’s why I… have blue hair, it’s why I paid someone to turn me and it’s why I loved being a vampire.” He said.
“It cured it for you.” Owen realised.
“The power made me feel alive, I could be me.” He stared at the shadows that no longer welcomed him as one of their own, instead it felt like they were closing in on him, preying on his senses and infecting his body.
“I’m surprised you reverted back.” Owen said honestly. “I didn’t regain the disease on my skin after being cured.”
Scott glanced at him. “You said your skin was irritated.”
“Well yeah, but it’s nothing like what I dealt with before.” He said.]---

Summary
Everything is silent and still. This region has been that way for two centuries, keeping out all but the most persistent of wanderers, shielding itself from the outside since the last time abundant blood was spilled and fed the enchantment that ensures that the dreadful creature at its heart remains asleep.
The soil yearns for the call of its master, the corruption spreads, and the living beings that still inhabit this place keep on living, subdued, waiting. There's an air of anticipation: it's almost the promised time once again.

When they first lock eyes in the Great Hall, Harry feels the pain in his scar and figures it's some kind of karma, that he has a staring problem, and vows to keep eye contact with everyone to a minimum.
While Snape can't bear to be looked at by the boy with the face of James Potter, he can't help but feel himself crack at the seams when Lily Evans' eyes bore into his own.
My retelling of the first book, but with a bit more competence all around. Snape has a heart, and absolutely for the life of him can't handle Harry's eyes. (NOT Snarry) Lily haunts the narrative fr fr. (Not intended as Snily either, but if you want to go for it).
Yes, what if Harry's eyes got to Snape more than he'd like to admit? He gradually begins to care for the boy throughout the year, albeit begrudgingly and in his own way.

Meanwhile, Iron Man is trying to figure out who this spider-dude that is refusing to accept his help.
