Maleficent finds it funny, really. Diaval tries to flirt with her and gets just what he deserves: yet another animal now walks on very human legs and bats her very human eyelashes. But suddenly — it seems... it seems like the intolerable royal cat is growing quite fond of a forest bird. At least that's exactly how it looks from the side. Now, that is not funny at all.

Summary
Originally, this was supposed to be a collection of one-shots with each chapter being an individual work. But as I continued writing, I decided to just link them together into one big story. Each chapter will have a summary of what part of the story it falls in, but basically this is both films + bonus original scenes from either Maleficent's or Diaval's POVs. Most of these are canon-compliant with some inner musings from both Maleficent and Diaval. Some I've embellished and added original content as well.
I gift this collection to my dear friend Cait, who listens to me gush over my Diaval obsession and encourages this WIP.
