Summary
He listens to Max ramble on and complain about the lag, and soon enough they’re playing. Lando ignores the chat and focuses on the mission. But then the guy next to him, his partner, takes a wrong turn and Lando says, without thinking, “On the right, Osca—Connor, on the right.”
And yeah, he knows how that’s going to go. Max is quiet, but he sees him subtly shake his head at him. Lando double checks that he’s not needed and turns around to find Oscar looking at him from the bed, mouth quirked up.
“Did you just –”
Lando nods, sheepish. It’s not like they’re a complete secret, even. They haven’t exactly been quiet about it. Their friends know, and the team, too. But –yeah, it’s not public-public, yet.

Summary
Friends, Lando thinks, are overrated.
His certainly are, anyway.
Specifically, those who think they’re being coy by setting him up on a padel date with his teammate. Whom they know he’s been in love with for the better part of the year. And who remains painfully clueless about the whole thing.
He’d approached him, at the end of the season, holding up his padel coupons from Alex with a hopeful, knowing glint in his eye. The news of their conspicuously identical secret santa gifts had traveled fast across the paddock. Max had laughed, loudly, and clapped a hand over Lando’s shoulder in what Lando thinks was his idea of commiseration. Maybe, Oscar had said, floppy brown hair blowing gently back in the Qatari air, once it’s warm back at home, we could…and Lando had nodded before he’d even finished the sentence.
He regrets that moment, thoroughly and completely.

Oscar tries not to stare at Lando as he moves through the crowd, at the graceful sway of his hips, the delicate set of his shoulders. He sees how he places his hands over people’s backs, shoulders, arms, head tipped back in delight, lips stretched thin in a smile that radiates self-assuredness and confidence. A finally. Someone reaches over to adjust Oscar’s cap and he grins in their direction, hoping they can’t see where his eyes had been. Andrea catches his eye on the way down, though, and there’s a glint there that lets Oscar know he’s been caught one. He laughs, shrugs one shoulder. Andrea rolls his eyes, but the smile on his face never falters.

Summary
It was the freshest bit of gossip the whole school had the minute Oscar Piastri enrolled. Everyone spoke about the son of a Death Eater attending Hogwarts.
Piastri is off-putting, yes. Eerily stoic at times and a growing nuisance to Lando when he bests him at duels in front of everyone. But does Lando think this kid is some evil and dangerous wizard? Frankly, he couldn’t care less about what this kid is.
He just needs to beat him next time they’re opponents.
OR
Lando and Oscar are rivals with a deep rooted hatred for each other, both vying to win a prestigious competition at Hogwarts. But the road to becoming a victor will be tricky as they become each other’s distraction and obsession.

Summary
Lando Norris, internationally famous rockstar, has three main priorities: drugs, avoiding eye contact, and pretending emotions don't exist.
To most, he's just flippant; a hot, young thing with messy habits. So what if he washes down breakfast with a shot of vodka? He's a rockstar, it practically comes with the territory of being too young and too famous.
But the reality of it is a lot more destructive.
Enter Oscar Piastri. Engineering student. Polite and boring to a fault. Really, he's nothing interesting.
Except, after one too many nights taken too far, Lando's manager hires Oscar as his chaperone.
Lando hates him immediately.
As the band's tour drags on, as the looming threat of FIA's album deadline becomes ever the more pressing, as Oscar gets dragged deeper into a strange world of glitz and grime, Lando begins to think that things might finally turn out fine.
Except things are never, ever fine with him.

The voice came from just behind Lando, low, smooth, threaded with amusement.
He turned.
And okay. Yeah.
Cute boy, expensive champagne, it all suddenly made sense.
Or: the one where Lando tries to fix his broken heart with fun, flirting, and very bad decisions.

Summary
Lando drifts towards the bar and orders something vaguely fruity. Hah, fruity. The DJ’s playing a remixed version of I KNOW ? that makes his head throb and the drink swirl. Oscar would have something interesting to say, he thinks, he’d make a quip about how blondes weren’t really his type anyway. They’d hover in a corner together—after Lando’s all danced out—and make fun of the drunks, despite not being much better themselves.
Someone brushes past and settles on the edge of his periphery. Lando spins in his chair and sees him, swooping brown hair, pale skin, a quarter zip that’s just so obviously Oscar.
