Summary
Viktor's life falls apart on an unbearably warm day of late September, at exactly 11:06 in the morning. It shatters into a thousand pieces that get caught in his throat as he sits on the floor of his bathroom, braced leg screaming in discomfort, back hunched over himself, and sobs wrecking his body. The apartment is empty, his haven slowly turning into hell as he stares at the stick in his hand. The two lines stare back, mocking in their brightness. In a fit of rage, he throws the test against the wall, joining the two others that he has already discarded this way.
Or: Viktor discovers he is pregnant. He does not want it.

Summary
“I think it’s a bit too late for that,” Jayce says, turning to smile at the man next to him. “I’m Jayce, by the way.”
“I know.” The man smiles back and crushes the butt of his cigarette on the ground before moving away. “See you around.”
Jayce doesn't expect to fall in love when Caitlyn calls him on a random afternoon after the girl gets in a fight with a new student. It is extremely hard to resist to Viktor's charm however; even more so since he doesn't particularly care about resisting.

What are you doing here?” Viktor is halfway out of his seat, grabbing his cane as he gets to the door.
Willem grins, blowing a bubble as they look Jayce up and down. “Did ya forget the date, baby?”
Jayce makes an odd sound then, almost like he is choking on something, and Viktor ignores Willem’s stupid little jab to turn to his partner.
“Are you alright Jayce?”
The man in question finally seems to snap out of his reverie and nods. He is standing stiffer than Viktor has ever seen him; even during his trial, he looked more relaxed.
“I’ll, uh. I’ll go back to working.”

Summary
Modern-day Hobbit AU set in Scotland, wherein Thorin is the leader of the most notorious criminal family in Scotland, and Bilbo is the bemused grocer who is dragged into their business (and their family) against his will.
The Sons of Durin is the first story, and should definitely be read first. Durin's Sons is a very different perspective on that story. Children of the Lonely Mountain is a series of short stories that fill in the gaps. All three are set chronologically before Durin's Folk, which will continue the story into the events of the Lord of the Rings series.

Twisted by the effects of dragon sickness, Thorin banishes not only Bilbo but the entire company from Erebor. Days pass with no word from their missing leader and, fearing the effects the gold may have on the other dwarves, Bilbo decides to enter the mountain alone in search of Thorin.
What he finds may not be Thorin for much longer.
Or: In which the dragon sickness is slowly transforming Thorin into a dragon, and Bilbo must save him before it is too late.

Hobbits had many secrets, perhaps as many as the dwarfs. But no one knew about hobbit secrets, so no one went looking for them. When Dwalin had told Bilbo of the deepest secret of dwarrow children, Bilbo had kept the deepest secret of hobbit children behind his teeth.
Note: This story is a series of vignettes and ideas. I'll probably never finish them all, but the last chapter includes a summary of what all I might have thrown in.
