She doesn’t even turn around-she knows it’s him, and unintentionally, she leans further into his arms. It hurts. Jimin knows the only other person Minjeong instinctively leans into is her.

Minjeong grabs the front of Jimin's shirt and pulls her closer. Her grip is weak, it would be easy for Jimin to get out of her grasp, but the sudden animosity that spreads across Minjeong's face like a drop of ink in water, freezes her limbs.
"Jimin, right?" Minjeong asks. She spits out the two syllables of Jimin's name like a curse. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

Aeri gave her a look over her wine glass. “And here I thought you didn’t care what people think.”
“I don’t,” Jimin said. “But I care what people think about you.”
That made Aeri pause. She masked it quickly behind a grin. “Are you trying to be charming, Yu Jimin?”
Jimin blinked. “Was I?”
Aeri laughed, because Jimin didn’t know how attractive she was when she acted like that. She didn’t need to call Aeri pretty or sweet. She only had to bring her extra water when she saw the signs of dehydration. To send back the steak because it wasn’t how Aeri liked it. To lean in when Aeri flinched at the sound of a broken glass behind them.
