"My eyes—the Six Eyes—they're a gift from my clan. A gift and a curse, tied to the star plasma vessel." Gojo's voice came from Yuji's left side now, close and intimate. "They don't see the world like you do. They see everything. The truth of things."
Yuji could track them by sound, by the faint shift of air as Gojo passed, by the way his body instinctively turned slightly to follow the movement even though he could see nothing.
"Right now, I can see you, of course." The voice was behind him now, "But I also see every flicker of your cursed energy, every tiny fluctuation. I see the way your heart is racing." A soft chuckle from somewhere to his right. "I see the way your temperature has gone up. I see the blush spreading across your cheeks."

"This is your idea of fun?" Megumi's voice was a low, tight whisper, right next to Yuji's ear in the confined space.
"It's… it's kind of funny," Yuji wheezed, trying to keep his voice down. "Your face when she said it. Like you'd just been asked to exorcise a thousand grade-one curses at once or share a meal with Gojo Sensei ."
"My face is perfectly neutral," Megumi grumbled. He tried to shift, to find a sliver of space, to create any distance between them, but only succeeded in pressing his knee more firmly against Yuji's thigh. The contact sent a jolt through him that had nothing to do with static electricity or something similar "Stop moving. There's no room!"

You— " The Zenin boy stopped himself then he added,repeating "I have studied you! I understand you! I am the only one in that cursed clan who does!”
Toji tilted his head slightly, the line of his jaw harsh in the moonlight. When he spoke again his voice was a flat, bored “I came here to kill you, pup. Defend yourself.”

Summary
Maru pushes himself off of him, and falls on his back next to him. Tsurugi's vision blurs, the world dissolving, until it's just the two of them. Laying on the ground like open wounds.
“Shut up, Maru. Don’t make me regret not killing you.”
“As if you could have,” Maru says. His face turned to the stars above. And for a moment Tsurugi wonders what Maru is looking for every time he looks up into the vast darkness of the night sky irritated with stars.
Tsurugi exhales. “You—You still haven’t realised it, have you?”
Maru turns to face him. A confused look on his face. The way the stars reach down to sparkle in his eyes, to lighten the dark shadows that have come to settle into his hair, makes Tsurugi’s heart flutter against his chest. He doesn’t look away. Not now, not ever.
“I might not be able to take you out in a fight,” there is a pause in his words, as if it could make the gravity of what he is about to say less frightening. “But I could have slit your throat the second you passed out.”
“Then why haven’t you?”
or Whether you come as a lover or an executioner, I am ready to receive you.
