“Hey baby,” Agatha said, voice laced with concern. She knelt down on the bed and cupped Rio’s cheek with her hand. her skin was warm to the touch, which was unlike her wife, who usually ran colder than most. Agatha was supposed to be the human radiator between the two of them.
“Hi,” Rio’s voice sounded congested. Her face was flushed, the tip of her nose tinted red, and eyes were watery and she looked fatigued.
