Kaminari looked up, then faltered under the weight of both their glares, flushing and muttering something neither of them could hear. The others were still too busy arguing with each other to notice their Captains' appearance, while Kaminari looked more and more desperate for one of them to notice what was going on. Serves him right, Katsuki thought uncharitably.
"So…" Kaminari started, his voice small. "We may have… lost our way?"

Katsuki wiped Izuku’s face and pinched his cheeks. “I may go now but know that I will miss your ugly snot face. I will miss your eternal mumbles and your sticky cuddles.” Izuku pouted. “I will miss my best friend. I will miss you, Kacchan.” He tackled Katsuki into a hug once more in which the Sun Prince greatly returned. Izuku let go and planted a soft kiss to Katsuki’s cheeks and grin. Katsuki was shortly taken aback but he returned one of Izuku’s temple and caressed his freckled face. “Me too, Deku.”

He acted as a shield - like the Moon trying to cover the Sun for one very brief and poignant moment of desperation, when the Sun reached its peak too high up in the sky and grew too much in size and power, threatening to burn everything down. Zoro knew, in this moment, his Sun needed the shield, his Moon, his Zoro, to talk to him, to steady him back to the firm ground beneath them.
