Peter looked at his friend. Ned looked at Peter.

"You're suggesting I fake my age and my bio to get an internship with Tony Stark," Peter said slowly.

    "Yes."

    "That's… a bad idea."

    "Terrible."

    "I'll get caught."

    "Probably."

    "And kicked out in disgrace."

    "Likely."

    Peter paused.

"…But they'd see my project first," he added quietly.

    Ned grinned, all teeth.

    "Exactly."

Peter exhaled, turned back to his laptop, and hit 'Submit'.

    Tim is good at galas.

No, scratch that—Tim is great at galas. He’s been attending them ever since the age of three, when his parents first stuffed him into his little Gymboree tuxedo and gave him a stern lecture about ‘sitting quietly’ and ‘speaking when spoken to.’ He knows all the rules: what to wear, how to stand, when to smile, what to say, what not to say. He knows how to come across as polite and intelligent and charming, and on absolutely any other day, he would be rocking this.

    ---

Or, my take on a ‘Tim Joins the Family Early’ AU, told through a series of sleepovers, most of which are unplanned.

Featuring pre-teen Tim, Alive!Jason, and a whole lot of hurt/comfort.

What if Peter had white wings? Admittedly, they’d suit him— at least society would think so. Of course, a boy as kind and good as Peter Parker should have pure white wings.

But would they really suit him? No.

Personally, Tony thought a pair of black wings would suit him best.

Maybe grey wings? Tony could live with a nice, soft grey; anything but a blinding white.

Maybe Peter could be a Mourning Dove with brown and grey wings. Or maybe a Finch? Or some other friendly bird that didn't have white wings— not that the kind of bird wings you had meant anything, of course.

Tony blew out a breath and rolled onto his side, blankly staring at the wall.

No, that wasn’t right. No matter what Peter’s wings looked like, Tony would adore them because they were Peter’s, and that was the important part.

No matter what, if and when Peter showed Tony his wings, he’d like them.

(or i finally decided to write a wingfic. feat. peter working up the courage to finally show tony his wings, and tonys really good at being a mentor/dad (and putting his foot in his mouth. and making assumptions))

I’m freaking out and I need someone to talk me down.”
“Are you sure? I’m the opposite of the person you should be calling for something like that.”
“Well, I have no social life, so you’re my only friend,” May says. “After you, my closest relationship is with the woman who delivers my sushi.”

Tony Stark: official secret-keeper for the Parker family, for some unfathomable reason. And sure, it’s nice that they both trust him. But why can’t they ever just talk to each other. This family needs a new M.O.

“Don’t listen to him,” Pepper says, coming into the living room and setting down two mugs of hot chocolate. “He was a complete mess. He told me his Social Security number was six.”

Peter lifts his head off of Tony’s couch and gives him a withering look. “Six? Mr. Stark, do you even know what a Social Security number is?”

Tony lifts his hand off the couch and lightly smacks Peter on the back of the head. “Do you know what your Social Security number is?”

    “I know it’s not six!”

or; tony, peter, and four holidays they spend together throughout the years, with their family.
