Summary
During a solo mission in Crocus, Lucy runs into Laxus months into his journey of self-discovery. He agrees to keep her company on the job, leading to them both being sucked through a magic portal and landing in Terra; a world of pirates and Devil Fruits. During their stay in the desert country of Alabasta, they run into the Straw Hats and help them stop the local civil war. In doing so, they receive a gift from Princess Vivi; an ancient celestial spirit Key, this one made of seastone.
Lucy doesn't understand what the Stone Keys mean or why they were left behind, but they're some how tied to their way home. Joining the Straw Hats, they set out to discover the truth and way home--even more so when Gajeel and Lily come looking for them without a plan of their own.

Shepard’s stammering interrupted that line of thought, and before Garrus could think, he blurted out
“What do you need, Shepard?”
The turian’s voice had come out gravelier than intended. Spirits, he was glad humans couldn’t understand subvocals, because his were screaming embarrassment.
The human had gone still. The silence hung between the two of them, as if hanging on the brink of a precipice.
“It’s… weird” Shepard finally whispered.
Garrus took a moment, before doubling down.
“Tell me what you need, Shepard. Let me help you.”
