Summary
Mingyi clutches at his fucked ankle as he looks up at the bull-headed beast barreling towards him. Ah, shibal, his dumb, useless brain supplies unhelpfully. If he’d known he was going to die today, he would have gotten rip-roaring drunk last night and splurged on meat and seafood instead of settling for his usual cup ramen.
As it is, Mingyi doesn’t even try to move out of the way. Just closes his eyes, clears his mind, and waits for the inevitable end.
It never comes.
Instead, when he takes stock of his surprisingly intact body, all he feels is a sense of weightlessness and warmth. Mingyi’s eyes snap open, and when he looks up, he’s faced with the stony, intense gaze of none other than Sung Jin-woo, the thirteenth S-rank hunter in Korea.
