With a self-satisfied smirk Zoey leaned on the counter, wiggling her eyebrows at the barista, “Hey.. Rumi, you got any cream pies for us?”
The barista blinked at her for a moment before glancing at the display of pies, “Oh. I’m sorry, we don’t have any cream pies today, but I’ll make sure we have some tomorrow if you wanna come by! Is there anything else I can get you instead?”
And the situation would be funny— hilarious even, if not for the fact that Rumi had said it with so much sincerity that it would be straight up rude to laugh at her adorable oblivion.

Being a lifeguard was not the plan. It still isn’t, really.
Or at least, it isn’t the long-term plan.
But uni isn’t free, and neither is food or housing, so since she has to be here anyways for school at JNU, she figured that at least she’d get to enjoy the beaches.
Plus, with the advanced training she had from her time as a lifeguard while she (ironically) floundered at UCSD, she’d been eagerly accepted into the fold of Jeju Island’s less experienced team.
So it’s not so bad, Dumb Boy and his ilk aside.
And she does get tons of time to explore the island and its various tide pools, which is great for her morale and her research on the effects of global warming on the species in said tide pools. And sometimes, she gets to help some baby sea turtles get to the water, which feels like actual magic.
So, overall, not a bad gig.
Especially since the two (very pretty, oh my god) girls she noticed seem to have taken notice of her, eyeing her up from under their umbrella, the taller of the two not particularly seeming to care when Zoey sees.
‘Interesting.’Zoey is a hot lifeguard. Mira and Rumi are hot for the lifeguard.

Summary
Professional photographer Rumi is invited by her two favorite models - Mira and Zoey - to collaborate on a 'special costume photoshoot'. The email is laden with euphemisms, the studio they suggest is very private, and if Rumi hadn't been working with the couple for a year by now she'd think they were out to harvest her organs. As it is, she's left to wonder how much intent is really behind their flirting.
When she arrives, she's greeted by the pair wearing revealing bunny suits and hungry expressions. But Rumi has a reputation to uphold and a job to do, so she keeps her cool and remains a gentleman about it.
Mira and Zoey didn't dress up for a risqué photoshoot, though. They want Rumi to join them in bed, and they can only not-so-subtly tease for so long before they decide to be bold... and learn that Rumi isn't as shy as they'd thought.

“Can you, um,” Zoey clears her throat, her fingers curling into a fist in front of her mouth. Nerves take over, she can feel her heart pounding against her chest, a fast thump, thump, thump that sends all coherent thoughts in her brain scattering. Her gaze darts back and forth between the colorful row of Gatorade bottles and the shiny, metallic Red Bull cans. Her own flustered expression reflects on the chilled glass of the refrigerator displays. “Can you repeat that, Mir?”
Mira chuckles as she tilts her head, warm brown eyes fondly studying the way Zoey’s being so demure right now. Like a turtle ducking into its shell. It’s beyond cute. She repeats the words that have turned her boisterous alpha into a meek little cutie.
“I want to take your knots. After the gala. We’re still on break and I want to spend it with you both.” The flustered squeak Zoey lets out makes Mira laugh lightly, mirth bubbling off of her tongue from the sight of Zoey blushing bright red after hearing her request.
