Jayce stares open mouthed from the doorway of the lab. A man who looks strikingly like Viktor is standing by Viktor’s desk, looking through Viktor’s notes, muttering softly to himself in Viktor’s voice. He’s even using Viktor’s cane. But it can’t be the real Viktor. He doesn’t wear clothes like that and he doesn’t style his hair in that way and he definitely doesn’t wear jewellery.
Except, today, apparently, he does.

Summary
The knights of Camelot would do anything for Camelot but most importantly they'd do everything for Arthur, their one true King. They would not hesitate to do anything he tells them to.
Even now, they all wait for him to give his instructions as the druid’s words sink in.
For the sealed tomb to be unlocked, it requires the defiling of an innocence.
More specifically, a defiling of somebody innocent. A virgin’s first time is needed as a sacrifice.
The tomb is enchanted, and within lies the one object that can stop Camelot from a monster of a certain doom.

When the Knights go in search of something to save Camelot, they are told that the only way to do so is to sacrifice a virgin.None of the knights are; until of course, a certain non-knight manservant pipes up.

“What is he like?” Viktor asks, as they're seated around the fire for the first night of their journey. Besides a small tent for him, they are devoid of any luxuries. He's sore and tired, feeling the first ounce of regret at refusing a litter or a wagon.
“Who?” Jayce asks in return, looking up from where he's preparing their dinner, a rabbit they'd chanced upon earlier.
“My intended, your king. I've never met him.”
“His majesty is-” Jayce looks like he's thinking too carefully. “Generally well liked. Tall.”
