They’re a mess of limbs for a moment but Zoro ends up with his head pillowed in Luffy’s lap, staring up at him with one wide eye. Luffy pets over his face, his hair, down his neck to where the collar of his yukata starts. Nami stands at the edge of the bed for just a moment, something hot settling in her as she looks at the two of them. Her boys. She doesn't think she’ll ever get tired of thinking that.
or: it's been two years since nami has seen her boys and they've changed so much since then. still, they fall together so easily.

Summary
Nami forms a magical contract with a yokai, agrees to break a curse on his friend, and that's not even counting all the work she has to do for her shop and to fulfill her own magical contract. Nami welcomes the challenge, though, hoping that if she can break the curse on Luffy then she'll be able to break other magical bonds. It takes time to break a curse as powerful as the one on Luffy, and Nami gets to know him and Zoro. She knows better than to get attached, knows she's not meant for friends or connections in the life she has, but she can't help herself.

Summary
It was a complicated feeling, Ace knew from experience. At one time you instantly loved them, but it was also overwhelming. The connection, or connections tugged from something deep in your core. You could feel them all- strings of all colors conveying emotion along them, the intent and tone of the words, and if you focused on it, the emotions of your partners. Their longings and joys and sorrows became your own.
It could be terrifying, but also joyous because you weren't ever alone.
“There's four!” Luffy beamed.
Ace took his brother's wrist and turned his arm, counting the different sets of handwriting. “Three.”
And a strange look came over Luffy's face, concentration, concern, but at the same time confident in his assessment. “No, definitely four… I can feel them.”
