All ninjas finished the academy with a blatant bad habit, born out of circumstances outside their control. Shuriken and small weapons were thrown without a care. The Fourth Hokage himself suffered from such mistakes, it didn't help that the technique he was infamously feared for, greatly benefitted from such behavior. Years later, those kunais are found by a small yellow haired boy.
