Summary
In the sci-fi smash-hit movie Binary Light, Dev Creehil (played by Alex Claremont-Diaz) and Qindeli (played by Henry Fox) go from enemies to reluctant allies to friends. While a legion of on-line fans believe that arc should have included a ‘to lovers’ at the end, the behind the scenes truth is that the lead actors stayed firmly enemies to enemies throughout filming.
Fresh off a brutal breakup, Alex is back for the sequel and back to dealing with Henry—the asshole Hollywood nepo baby who has failed to conceal his disdain for Alex ever since their first chemistry read. In the script the shippers will finally be getting what they’ve always wanted, but, as some of Henry’s ice begins to thaw, what Alex wants has become decidedly more confusing.

Summary
The man’s lips are pink and plump, and Alex stares. He can’t pull his eyes away, for whatever goddamn reason. The man speaks—his pretty lips shaping each word with a delicate precision and Alex manages to catch the end of his sentence.
Alex blue-screens.
“...to kiss you.”
Alex leans in, smushing their lips together, without any ceremony; hesitantly dragging his bottom lip against the man’s pretty ones. He tastes the burst of citrus sunshine on his lips, the tangy bliss of the margarita the man has been sipping.
It’s like sipping summer from his lips.

Alex is a somewhat disillusioned actor who finally lands the project of his dreams: a story that matters, directed by one of his idols, Rafael Luna. The only problem is that the screenwriter is Henry Fox, who can’t seem to stand Alex, and who Alex would love to shove into a cake. Neither of them expect the way working together will change both of their lives forever. Or, five times Henry Fox, screenwriter with the hottest script in town, talked about Alexander Claremont-Diaz, up-and-coming actor, and one time Alex talked about him right back.
“Up to the challenge?” Alex says, and then says it again, just in case Zahra missed it. “Up to the challenge?”
“It’s a perfectly normal quote, Alex, especially since you haven’t really met Henry Fox before,” Zahra says.
“Uh, we’ve met, Z,” Alex shoots back. “Or, I tried to meet him and congratulate him on his script like two years ago at that amfAR benefit and he looked at me like I was some sort of unwanted sentient mud and walked away, remember?”

Henry huffs. “Do you honestly think I haven’t thought about that? But my student visa was up at the end of May. I can’t just come back.”
“Of course you can,” Alex says immediately.
“Alex—”
“We can get married.”
“Uh…married?” Henry croaks.
