“I — ah! — didn’t want to bother you,” Phainon breathes out.
Mydei sighs, stopping himself in his tracks, rising from where he had left marks in Phainon’s skin to admire the canvas of pale skin where colourful bruises began to bloom, where an angry, red wound, made in a show of love and want, stared back at him; only to reach up with both hands, from where he still held Phainon’s waist to cup his soft cheeks, drawing Phainon’s gaze to his own, blinking back the tears as confusion on why he stopped clouded Phainon’s features.
“You are always putting others feelings and needs ahead of your own, and leaving yourself in a position to feel undesired,” Mydei states simply. Phainon shifts uncomfortably, feeling exposed, though it had nothing to do with his half-naked state. “So, tell me the truth, Phainon. Did you feel neglected? Unwanted?”
Mydei has been neglecting his omega. He does his best to make up for it.

Mydei has never gotten over Khaslana's retirement from the Okheman Pop industry, spending his days yearning for his embarrassing little teenage crush. On one fateful evening, his friends pull a prank on him and get him a dating app, trying to get him to go home with another man after years of celibacy and despite his reticence to socialize.
But when he stumbles upon the profile of a man looking uncanningly like his favorite idol, Mydei matches with him. Worse: the man likes him back, and suddenly they are making out in Mydei's apartment, filled with Khaslana merch, and now with a cute stranger who looks exactly like him !

With the image of a person laying, rather provocatively, on the front—and the back, Phainon noted when Mydei turned it to inspect both sides—while their white hair splayed around their head and their blue eyes and outstretched hand beckoned the onlooker to join them in bed—

Phainon choked as Mydei’s eyes flicked from the drawn image of a man, to Phainon and back again.
During their off-planet trip to Planarcadia, Cipher scrounges up an interesting piece of fan-made merchandise as a gift for Mydei.
Phainon does not approve.

Summary
Since that day when the black tide reached Aedes Elysiae, Phainon learned that he couldn't be a warrior anymore, not with the feeling of Cyrene's blood in his fingers. So he learned to pass down knowledge to other generations... to Kremnoonian kids.
Without Phainon noticing, he had unintentionally attracted the attention of the Undying King himself, Mydeimos, the son of Queen Gorgo.
But he also has to first learn how to both grieve and forgive himself from the past before trying to get to know Mydeimos better... as his old friend Cyrene had told him in the past that his burdens can affect Mydeimos too.

What Phainon didn't know was one of his favorite songs was from Mydei's dream where he met a young boy similar to himself. So naturally, Mydei was interested in him.
Cue the others playing cupid to this stupidly clearly in love duo.
