It took a while to notice – Kate was somewhat delirious – but one morning she had woken up and realized that his facial hair was quite full. He had grown a bit of stubble during their honeymoon, when they were both loath to leave the bed at all, but she had not seen him so…so…

Once she noticed, she could not stop noticing it. Her husband already lived in her thoughts, somewhat annoyingly, but those thoughts had turned wicked. Anthony need only smile at her from the desk in his study as she passed by, or coo at a fussy Edmund, and a pulse went straight to her core. God forbid he would take a long sip of his tea, closing his eyes in satisfaction, and Kate longed for him to drink from her.
