Whenever he has a speech or is in any kind of spotlight (which is quite frequently given, since he is the leading physicist who brings in the majority of funding), he always asks her to come along. Just like he’s the one she drags to the movies and shopping and whose shoulder she cried on when she decided to retire, while he rubbed her back and told her he supported her in whatever she chose to do.
There isn’t a single universe where she can ever imagine being without him. She doesn’t even know where she’d be in life if she hadn’t met him.
